Michael Furlong

Michael Furlong represents individuals, businesses and municipalities that face legal challenges in state and federal court.

Mike started his career in 2002 as an attorney in commercial litigation with a large Pacific Northwest law firm. He and his family moved to Lake County in 2006. Since moving to Illinois, Mike has represented clients at all levels of the court system, including bench trials, jury trials, and appeals. In several appellate cases, he has successfully argued for the application of new law in favor of his clients.

Prior to law school, Mike worked in journalism as a reporter with the City News Bureau of Chicago. Mike volunteers his time at the St. Anastasia Soup Kitchen and the Libertyville Senior Center. In his free time, Mike enjoys skiing, backpacking, and gardening.
